Piper Cherokee

Legends Aviation Academy operates the Piper Cherokee as another of our preferred training aircraft. That means you can gain most of your hours in this aircraft from private pilot all the way to your commercial certificate!

Our Piper Cherokee is well equipped with standard "six-pack" avionics, along with a VOR receiver and ADS-B out, along with a Garmin 430 for IFR navigation, you can take this plane anywhere. This four-seat trainer is designed for all your flying needs. With an all-metal fuselage and powered by the durable 150 horsepower Lycoming O-320, the Piper Cherokee is set for any training scenario at the low price of $155 an hour wet.

Utilizing a yoke for pitch and roll, the Piper Cherokee is very responsive to control manipulations by the pilots in the seat, making for a great training aircraft. The Piper Cherokee also utilizes traditional mixture control system, making it easier to adjust to the P2010 for newer pilots.
