Welcome to Legends Aviation Academy ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website, scheduling flight lessons, or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility & Medical Requirements

Students must meet all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) eligibility requirements for their desired certificate or rating.

You must obtain and maintain the appropriate FAA Medical Certificate before solo flight training.

You agree to provide accurate identification and citizenship verification as required by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

2. Scheduling & Cancellations

Lesson Booking: Lessons must be booked in advance.

Cancellation Policy: You must cancel or reschedule a lesson at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

No-Show Fee: Cancellations made within the 24-hour window, or failure to show up for a scheduled lesson, will incur a $60 no-show fee.

Weather & Maintenance: We reserve the right to cancel any flight due to adverse weather, aircraft maintenance issues, or safety concerns. No cancellation fees apply in these instances.

3. Payments & Accounts

All flight hours, instructor time, and aircraft rentals must be paid in full at the conclusion of each lesson.

Block-time discounts or prepaid accounts are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in a separate training agreement.

4. Liability & Renters Insurance

Aviation training carries inherent risks. You agree to follow all safety protocols, instructor directions, and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).

Insurance Requirement: All renters and solo students must purchase and maintain independent renters insurance (Non-Owned Aircraft Insurance) with a minimum hull coverage of $15,000 prior to operating any school aircraft without an instructor. Proof of an active policy must be uploaded to Flight Schedule Pro.

5. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of your use of our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

6. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel training for any student due to safety violations, unprofessional behavior, or non-payment.

Schedule lessons, track flight training progress, and log flight hours via Flight Schedule Pro.

Process payments and manage your account.

Comply with FAA, TSA, and other legal regulatory requirements.

Send transactional notifications (lesson reminders) and marketing communications (if you opted in).

3. SMS and Email Communications

If you opt into our communication lists, we may send text messages or emails regarding scheduling updates, weather alerts, or promotions.

Opt-Out: You can unsubscribe from emails via the "Unsubscribe" link. You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP at any time.

Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your SMS consent or phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.
