Our story & aviation foundation
All flight schools can teach you how to operate an airplane. At Legends Aviation Academy, we get to know you on a personal level, instilling the habits of safe, disciplined, and legend-worthy aviators.
A solid foundation of pilots & aviators
With Legends being around since 1989, we have built an enduring ecosystem of senior flight instructors and seasoned aviators ready to guide you. We specialize in producing safe, responsible, and professional pilots who meet and exceed FAA standards.
When you train at Lakeland Linder International Airport (KLAL), you train in an active controlled airspace with commercial jet traffic, control tower operations, and favorable Central Florida flying weather year-round.
